Trying to get a general idea of the Friday night racing scene here in the metroplex, Do you like the idea, do you want to race on Friday night with the Karts, No grandstands,? are you willing to run Saturday if a local area option is/becomes available? lets discuss this please.

Anywhere from 25 to 40 cars showed up at Cowtown, most of them swearing they hated it and still they raced.
I can't race well on Fridays because of work, and it leaves the weekends totally empty.
I can't believe there isn't a Saturday night track to race at somewhere.

We can race on Friday or Saturday or travel a couple time as month, But not having a general crowd, or weekly stands, doesnt due much for the sponsor, we give out as much as anyone for the customers and we get rewarded, for the return of marketing material to the stores. so yea i agree need more exposure some how,

If a Saturday option arises then we would be happy to help support it but until then we'll race KSP a few times this year but spend the majority of the season pulling to Oklahoma racing at I-44 or Port.

I just wish KSP wasn't being so secretive about draw fees and payouts. Makes it.real hard to support a frack when.you don't know what we're running for or even what it will cost to race in the first place!

Just saw a post On Facebook..... Pit passes are 15 bucks, and pays 325 to win and 30 to start for A-class and 150 for restrictor,, would assume start pay is the same. thats pretty good pay based on pit pass cost.

There is a talk that another local track is looking at the mini's It would be best for everyone to split them up. Run a sat. race at a differant track each week. Maybe get them to set up something for a points fund.

I'm looking for a Saturday night track. Fridays are tough because of work and traffic.

Greenvile. Ennis, are the other Saturday night tracks in Operation Local. RPM, KSP. GP. Waco are all Friday night shows. then there is Stephenville as well. But if its farther than 100 miles for most then that will be the next question, If spliting up the cars, it would be best for KSP to that Friday Saturday thing but have seperate point funds, i would guess, dont think you could have combined funds then eveyone would complain about not being able to race on certain dates and not fair tot those whom show up at both, JMO Or another track on Saturday pick them up and Let it be Friday and Saturday then you can race as much as you want.

RPM has said they would run some saturday shows, and headline the 600's but would have to come up with another 100 cars to go with it, due the cost of putting on a show and opening on a Saturday. need 150 cars..... not just 35 Mini Sprints. i can see that point as well. Greenville already tried it and the car count was low week in and week out. i am sure times are different now. and we have a lot more cars maybey this convewrsation and forum will bring together a VOICEof REASON lets hope so.
